Its important to align your content goals with your business goals. Let's briefly discuss 5 main content goals you should prepare for when creating your awesome content!
1. Awareness - This content focuses on letting people know about your brand, promotions, products and or services. You should really focus on driving visibility and reach with your target audience. It usually comes in forms of social media posts, banner ads, and videos!
2. Consideration - This type of content is geared to help your audience make up their mind and choose your product, brand, or service. You can create demonstration videos, "how-to" content, and blogs!
3. Conversion - The purpose of this content is to build from the previous two and get your customer over the line to invest in you! The more personable it is, the better!!
4. Affinity - This goal focused content can include all content types and is associated with building your brand to help retain your customers. Think of repeat business through brand involvement! Sharing your reviews, and positive feedback can certainly help in this area.
5. Advocacy - A continuation of affinity goals. When people have had a positive connection with your brand or service, they can move on to become your brand champions! User Generated Content (UGC) is the goal here. This is when your advocates post about your brand without you hassling them to!
