The Player's Challenge Series is a $2,000, winner-take-all promotional dart tournament that attempts to raise the visibility and popularity of the game by staging a series of high-profile matches at 25 or so existing tournaments throughout the United States, with the overall winner receiving $2,000.00. If successful, we hope to include more players (especially women and Canadiens) in 2015, and ev
en more in 2016. In order to defray travel expenses, the 1st round of matches are scheduled at tournaments the players regularly attend. You
can expect 2nd round matches to be similarly scheduled. The Final Four will be held at a high profile tournament held year's end. We believe that the more recreational darters see top players play, the more we'll inspire them to play more and play better. These are the core of a new
group of fans we want to entertain and inspire. Potential sponsors need to see that American Darts can be as entertaining and compelling as big tournaments overseas,
and that our players can be just as newsworthy. This series is designed to promote the players involved year round, and by keeping and comparing stats, interviewing
the participants, previewing and dissecting these matches, we can keep the "soap opera" going all year, with the big Final Four to take place as late in the year as
can be arranged. To this end, the matches are designed to create maximum local interest and scheduled where players were planing on attending anywhere. Match ups are also chosen based
on marketing and promotional considerations.
