****Story shared by another breeder- credit to Bear Pond Retrievers****

“Here we go again! At least once a year, despite our verbal and written warnings (in contract), a puppy buyer is convinced by their vet that Isoxoline class pesticides (Bravecto, Nexguard, Credellio and Simparica) are “safe and effective “. Well, this time it’s a seven month old Labrador. She’s had FIVE doses of Credellio. Two seizures and generally neurotic behavior. All litter mates are great. There is such a substantial amount of toxicity in her brain that she cannot calm down. She’s on a detox protocol and is already a completely different dog. She has a ways to go now as behavior is habit but she’s calmer and listening. Hopefully, the detox will prevent further seizures. She didn’t have any until after the 4th dose (it builds up!). This isn’t a dog “predisposed” or with a “history “ of seizures. That’s the biggest lie. If an animal has a pulse, they can develop seizures if you poison them. In 20 years of breeding, the only dogs who developed seizures (that we bred) were given flea/tick pesticides (no, I will not call them “meds”). Medicine heals. There’s nothing medicinal about these pesticides."

We took the puppies in the wagon to Ontonagon for the Labor Day festival!
Socialization in progress!
They received lots of attention, I was so encouraged by their behavior.
