2025 was a banner year at Spool highlighted by some incredible work for our clients, exciting new business wins, hitting agency and industry milestones and having more fun than one agency should be allowed to. Oh, and toss in a fresh new Spool rebrand & website to boot. Thank you to everyone who was along for the ride in 2025, we couldn’t be prouder to call you friends and colleagues. Instead of gifting this season, we donated to Feeding America, providing 5,000 meals for families facing hunger. Their work is more important than ever as many households navigate changes to SNAP benefits, and we’re proud to support the impact they make every day.

Today on World AIDS Day, we honor the lives lost to HIV/AIDS, the loved ones who carry their memories, and the millions living with HIV around the world.

It also holds personal meaning for the team. Both Jimmy and Catherine participated in the 2018 AIDS Lifecycle Ride, cycling 545 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles and helping raise more than $15 million for HIV/AIDS services. Their experience reflects Spool’s long-standing commitment to equity, dignity, and standing with communities most impacted.

The work is not over. Spool stands in solidarity today and always, believing that a world without AIDS is within reach.

We’re so excited to welcome back from maternity leave!

At Spool, one of our core values is authenticity. We believe in showing up fully as ourselves and leading big, full lives outside of work. That’s why we provide three months of fully paid family leave, plus a fourth month of fully paid, flexible transition time, where new parents return at 50% and gradually work their way back. We know this is a big life change, and we want to make it as gentle as possible for our people and their families.

Before becoming a mom, Taryn was a shining example of living life to the fullest — traveling, attending plays and concerts, taking classes to learn new things. Now, she’s embracing motherhood with that same spirit, little one in tow.
