We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Day Shift Manager to oversee the operations of our busy sports bar. Report directly to the Director of Operations and the General Manager. We all work as a team. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining the highest standards of food and drink quality, and creating an inviting atmosphere for our patrons.
Work Schedule:
TUES 10 AM - 8 PM
WED 10 AM - 8 PM
THUR 10 AM - 8 PM
FRIDAY 11 AM - 9 PM
Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the sports bar, ensuring smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Complete opening procedures and processes daily.
- Manage staff schedules and ensure all shifts are entirely staffed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and liquor laws.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality food service.
- Manage financial transactions and oversee the cash register.
- Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Audit paperwork from the previous night's closing.
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training new staff members.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
Excellent knowledge of serving and managing alcoholic beverages.
2. Strong leadership skills with a focus on staff training and development.
3. Proficiency in managing financial transactions and cash handling.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Ability to handle high-stress situations and make decisions quickly.
6. Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
7. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
8. Current ServSafe certification and BASSET Certification or the ability to obtain certifications.

Fox Management is looking to hire 2 security/front desk agents for our River North office building.
Experience is desired but not required. Must be able to pass a drug screen (ma*****na is ok) and background check.
Customer service, retail, or hospitality experience are all bonuses. Must be punctual, professional, and trustworthy.

Job Description: Ensure that our property is safe and secure. Conduct hourly safety checks around the building. Screen everyone that attempts to enter the building. Greet and assist every guest. Follow handling instructions for each business's guests. Have all building guests sign in. Light cleaning and maintenance to ensure that the property is always presentable to guests and resident companies. Accept packages and mail. Other responsibilities will be assigned as they arise.

30 hours per week with the opportunity for other hours. The pay rate will be commensurate with experience.
