Your website can look amazing and still lose customers. π
Sounds contradictory, right? But we've all experienced it. You land on a website that looks impressive⦠and then you can't figure out where to go, what the company actually offers, or how to contact them.
So you leave. That's the problem with treating a website as a design project instead of a business tool. Good design matters. π¨
But your website also needs to be:
π± Easy to use on mobile
π§ Simple to navigate
π¬ Clear about what you offer
π Focused on the customer's next step
Every unnecessary click creates friction. Every confusing section creates doubt. And every moment a customer spends trying to understand your website is another opportunity for them to choose someone else.
π‘ Here's a simple test:
Open your website on your phone and pretend you've never seen your business before.
Can you understand what the company does in a few seconds? Can you find what you need? Can you easily figure out what to do next? If the answer is no, the problem may not be traffic. It may be the experience you're giving the traffic you already have.
A website shouldn't just look good. It should make doing business with you feel easy. π
