We’re beyond excited to share our 2026 McGuffin Grant recipient: Open My World Therapeutic Riding Center 🐴🐴🐴

Open My World is dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with disabilities, mental health challenges and senior citizens in the community through the transformative power of horses. They provide a safe and supportive environment for participants through riding programs, reading programs and visits to senior centers, hospitals and more.

Through the grant, we’ll be redesigning Open My World’s website to communicate the group’s mission and community impact more effectively. We’re so honored to be able to partner with their passionate and dedicated team.

April Fool’s! Our designers pulled a little prank by creating some bad UX that would make you want to pull your hair out IRL.

Designing a great user interface isn't just about creating something that looks pretty. It's about creating an experience that's intuitive, efficient and enjoyable for your users. UX design focuses on understanding your users' needs, behaviors and goals, and then crafting interfaces that meet those needs in the most effective way possible. By neglecting UX design, you risk creating interfaces that are difficult to navigate, frustrating and just plain confusing — just like these examples 🃏

A recap of our work with last year's McGuffin Grant recipient Tie Tuesday Foundation, a nonprofit guiding pre-high school young men ages 10-13 toward professional careers through community mentorship and educational programming. We worked with the Tie Tuesday team to enhance the look and feel of the brand and clarify the organization's mission and messaging to attract new participants, mentors and donors (and had a blast doing it!).
