Throwback to when Chief Keef’s grandma caught Sosa sagging and immediately told him to pull his pants up 😭👀 No matter how famous you are, apparently grandma’s rules are still grandma’s rules.

The viral moment dates back to June 2013, when a then-17-year-old Chief Keef was leaving a Chicago police station after being arrested. Cameras surrounded the young superstar as he walked outside — but his grandmother was more concerned about how low his pants were, yelling from behind him that he needed to pull them up because it looked ugly. And Sosa actually listened 😂 (HipHopWired)

The clip came during one of the craziest periods of Keef’s early career. Less than a year earlier, “I Don’t Like” had exploded nationally after Kanye West jumped on the remix, while Finally Rich introduced millions of listeners to records like “Love Sosa” and “Hate Bein’ Sober.” (The FADER)

His grandmother played a major role in that story too. Keef spent much of his childhood living with her, and some of his earliest music and videos were created while he was still based out of her Chicago home. (The FADER)

That’s what makes the footage hilarious all these years later: the world might’ve seen Chief Keef, teenage rap superstar and face of Chicago drill — but grandma still saw her grandson Keith walking around with his pants too low 😭😂

Could anybody else besides his grandma have gotten 17-year-old Chief Keef to pull his pants up THAT fast? 😭👀

NBA YoungBoy might be the ONLY rapper who can make getting arrested look like he’s having a good day 😭👀 Newly surfaced bodycam footage from one of YB’s older arrests has fans crying after the Baton Rouge rapper appeared unusually happy and relaxed while dealing with police.

The latest footage circulating online reportedly comes from YoungBoy’s 2020 Baton Rouge arrest, when police detained him and several others while he was filming the “Dirty Stick” music video. Fans are just now getting a closer look at the encounter through bodycam footage that surfaced online on August 20. (Reddit)

That period was right in the middle of one of YoungBoy’s craziest runs. In 2020 alone, he released Still Flexin, Still Steppin, 38 Baby 2, Top and Until I Return, while becoming one of the most dominant artists on YouTube.

The footage is especially funny to fans because YB doesn’t appear nearly as stressed as you’d expect somebody being arrested to be 😭 Instead, clips show him interacting with officers while looking almost too comfortable with everything happening around him.

YoungBoy’s legal history would become much more serious in the years afterward, including federal gun-related cases. He ultimately received a presidential pardon in May 2025 and has since moved into a completely different chapter of his life. (People.com)

Now these old bodycam videos are basically becoming YB history lessons every time another one surfaces 😂

Why did NBA YoungBoy look happier getting arrested than most people look getting OUT? 😭👀

Trap Lore Ross has the internet talking after reporting that a judge mistakenly said all defendants pleaded guilty while reading charges in front of the jury. If accurate, that kind of wording is a huge deal because jurors are supposed to decide the case based on evidence—not be left with the impression that guilt was already admitted.

Ross has built a large following by breaking down rap cases, court documents, and testimony in real time, so moments like this immediately turn into major discussion across hip-hop. Fans are now questioning whether the statement was quickly corrected and whether it could create an issue for the defense.

In a serious criminal trial, even one wrong phrase can matter, especially when it’s said directly in front of jurors. That doesn’t automatically mean a mistrial or reversal, but defense attorneys could absolutely raise concerns depending on the full context and how the judge handled the mistake afterward.

For now, the internet is waiting to see whether this becomes a bigger legal issue or ends up being treated as a corrected slip of the tongue.

Do y’all think a mistake like this could affect how the jury views the defendants, or is it something they can move past? 👀⚖️

is back in the headlines after all charges in his r*pe case were dismissed, marking a major development in a situation that had been hanging over his name and career.

The Milwaukee rapper has built a strong following through his raw delivery, street-heavy records, and consistency, becoming one of the more recognizable voices coming out of Wisconsin’s rap scene. Even with legal issues surrounding him, fans continued to keep his music in rotation and follow every update.

Now that the case has been dismissed, attention is quickly shifting back to the music. For an artist whose momentum was interrupted by a serious legal situation, this could open the door for a fresh run and a chance to fully refocus on his career.

If Chicken P comes back with the right record, fans already look ready to support the next chapter.

Are y’all ready to hear some new music from Chicken P now that the charges have been dismissed? 💯🔥

Big Durk shared a prayer for his son Lil Durk ahead of what is being reported as the start of his trial tomorrow. The emotional moment quickly caught fans’ attention, with supporters flooding the comments with prayers and messages as one of the biggest legal battles in hip-hop reaches another major point.

Lil Durk went from Chicago’s drill scene to becoming one of the biggest rappers of his generation, building OTF into a major movement while earning platinum records, chart success, and a Grammy. His music has always been rooted in pain, family, loyalty, and survival, which makes seeing his father publicly praying for him hit even harder.

Durk has pleaded not guilty in the federal case against him, and the outcome will ultimately be decided through the court process. With so much attention surrounding the trial, every development is likely to become a major conversation across hip-hop.

For Big Durk, though, this moment was bigger than headlines or music—it was simply a father praying for his son before a life-changing day.

Do y’all think Lil Durk will be able to beat this case? 🙏⚖️

Tay Capone got the internet debating club fits after giving his thoughts on people who decide to pull up to the club wearing Jordans 👀😭 According to Tay, if you’re stepping out for the night, the sneakers might need to stay at the crib.

Tay has been around Chicago drill since its earliest days, coming up alongside L’A Capone, RondoNumbaNine and the rest of 600. Years later, he’s become just as known for his unfiltered interviews and commentary as he is for his music, regularly giving his opinion on everything from old Chicago stories to current rap culture. (iVoox)

And this time the topic isn’t beef or drill history — it’s fashion 😂 Jordans have been tied to hip-hop culture for decades, especially in Chicago where Michael Jordan’s legacy made the sneaker practically part of the city’s DNA.

But club fashion has definitely evolved. Depending on the spot, people are pulling up in designer shoes, loafers and luxury sneakers instead of traditional Jordans, which is exactly why Tay’s take has people choosing sides.

At the end of the day, though, a clean pair of J’s has survived damn near every fashion era — so convincing sneakerheads they can’t wear them outside might be a losing battle 😭👟

Is Tay Capone right — should Jordans stay OUT of the club, or can a clean pair of J’s still complete the fit? 👀😭

THF Lil Twin is turning heads after dropping the official video for “Red Rum,” and the buzz around his name is starting to get loud. The record is hitting with that raw Chicago energy, and fans across the city are already calling him one of the next artists who could really break through.

Coming out of Chicago’s THF movement, Lil Twin is stepping into a scene with deep history and heavy expectations. King Von’s blood brother has fans talking after saying he believes Von would be in prison if he were still alive today. The comment immediately sparked debate because Von’s career was exploding at the time of his death, but his life was also surrounded by ongoing legal issues and street controversy.

Von rose out of Chicago’s drill scene and quickly became one of its biggest storytellers. With projects like Grandson, Vol. 1, Levon James, and Welcome to O’Block, he built a massive fanbase through vivid songs that felt like real-life movies. His momentum was only getting stronger before he was killed in Atlanta in November 2020.

That’s what makes the question so interesting. Some fans believe Von would’ve grown into an even bigger superstar and left a lot of the street life behind. Others think the legal pressure and conflicts surrounding him would’ve eventually caught up with him.

Nobody can know for sure how his story would’ve played out, but years later, fans are still debating what direction Von’s life and career might have taken.

If King Von were still here today, do y’all think he’d be free and one of rap’s biggest stars—or locked up? 😳⁉️
