And this is now the third confirmed wave of search volatility in a short period:

December 2025 core update
February 2026 Discover update
March 2026 core update

Two week Google Maps progress for a brand new location.

This ranking grid is from a Google Business Profile that was built and verified recently. It shows visibility for a water damage related search across the service area.

We want to be clear about what you are seeing.

There are still many areas sitting in 20 plus positions, especially in the lower half of the map. That is normal early on for a new location.

The win is the momentum. In roughly two weeks, we are already seeing multiple areas move into single digits, with a few pockets reaching top 3 placement.
