Tehama Group Communications Tehama Group Communications is Chico State’s student-managed, full service public relations agency. Our agency operates just like any other PR agency.

Tehama Group Communications is a student-managed public relations agency at Chico State under the Department of Journalism and Public Relations. Each semester our talented writers, editing rock stars, social media mavens and inspired designers and photographers work together to fulfill the various requests of our clients. We do everything from managing clients' accounts to making key decisions in

how the agency operates. We develop new skill sets and build strong relationships with one another that often extend far beyond the agency.

Joerly is a Public Relations major with a minor in Women’s Studies. This is her second semester with TGC, where she currently serves as General Manager.

Through her time in the organization, she has continued to grow as a leader while gaining hands-on experience in communication, teamwork and campaign management.

Outside of school, Joerly enjoys working out, listening to music and exploring new coffee shops.

Following graduation, she plans to move back to Los Angeles to begin her career in consumer public relations, where she hopes to build on her passion for storytelling and brand strategy.

Introducing Tripp! Tripp Tague Shell is a public relations major with a minor in history.

This is his first semester as a member of TGC and is graduating in Spring 2026.

Outside of school Tripp enjoys skiing, live music and being outdoors.

After graduation Tripp plans on moving to Kansas City to pursue a career in influencer public relations.
