An SMM uses creativity, strategy, and planning to ensure businesses shine on social media. The goal is to create strategies for your social media that boost the ultimate goal. That goal could be very different for each business. It could be to increase sales, increase brand awareness, create a loyal fanbase, generate more leads, etc. 🌟
Here’s what's always involved (there can be lots more!):
1. Content Creation: A daily task is creating ideas for posts. That could be images, videos, or long or short-form writing.
2. Posting and Scheduling: They research the best times to share these posts to get the most attention. Using tools, they schedule posts in advance so the business stays active online without needing to be there 24/7.
3. Engaging with Followers: A big part of their role is interacting with followers or people who would most likely be interested in that brand. They respond to comments and messages, making sure to build a friendly and interactive community.
4. Analyzing Data: They look at numbers to see what works and what doesn’t. By checking likes, shares, comments, and more, they figure out the best way to reach and engage people.
6. Staying Updated: Social media changes fast! They keep up with the latest trends and updates to make sure their strategies are always fresh and effective.
In short, a social media manager makes sure a business’s online presence is effective toward the clients goal.📱✨
