Today we traveled across the Bay to visit the Destiny Church’s Kids Academy. We found some small but mighty peeps- mighty cute and mighty EXCITED!

MAGGIE & SASSY - Bonded Sisters Looking for a Loving Home Together 🐾

Meet Maggie, 5, and Sassy her 3½-year-old best friend, two sweet bonded girls who are looking for a foster or forever home together. These precious sisters have lived together their entire lives with their owner, who is sadly no longer able to care for them due to health issues. They’ve never known life apart, and their bond is incredibly special.

Right now they are at our shelter, and it has been very hard on them. Because we do not have a kennel large enough to keep them together, they have to be separated — and they cry for each other when placed in their kennels. It’s heartbreaking to see how much comfort they bring one another.

Both girls are super sweet, loving, and active, with happy personalities that make them a joy to be around. They love attention and would thrive in a home where they can run, play, and be part of a family again.

About Maggie:
Maggie is the beautiful golden retriever. She is a little overweight and would do best on light/weight-management food along with regular activity to help her get back to a healthy weight.

About Sassy: She loves people and is still very active. She will jump up on the bench just to sit next to you and have a good time.

These girls have already lost so much — they deserve the chance to stay together and transition into a safe, loving home side by side.

If you’ve ever considered fostering or adopting, please consider opening your heart and home to these bonded sisters. Keeping them together would mean everything to them. ❤️🐶🐶

We were back at Dodge Elementary this week to visit a group of very special kids who were excited, sweet, and asked some great questions. MayBell was overwhelmed with all the brushing and kisses she received!

Today is World Donkey Day. Our girls Tinker (26 years young) and her 20 year old “baby” Lucia live the good life of retirement. Their vocal demands for brushing and treats, as well as times when we are 5 minutes late going to the barn, bring smiles to our faces.
We love our donkeys,and they will be getting an extra treat today to celebrate!💛🌻💛🌻💛🌻

Our critters and we certainly enjoyed visiting the sweet folks at Luke 4:18 Fellowship Church this past week. As you can tell by the pics, we met more than a few chicken lovers! Pearl and Cluck Norris, you rocked !

Yesterday we shared a great afternoon with some very happy families at the annual NICU Reunion at Women and Children’s Hospital. Everyone wore smiles and excitement was in the air! I think Pearl was feeling it, as well! She kept flying out and mingling with the crowd.😊

Spent the morning with some sweet little peeps at DaySpring Baptist. Question- Is that the Easter Bunny?
Me- Almost. These are his cousins Archie and Adele.

Today we spent time connecting with old friends and meeting some new ones at Life Church’s family Day. Thank you, Angie Pullen, for inviting us back for a day of reconnecting and reminiscing. Our chickens, Pearl and Cluck Norris, were voted
“Most Popular” and our sheep Katie will be having her check docked for sleeping on the job.
