Hand lettering the Sponsor signs we display for each concert for this season of the Jazz in the Park Concert Series starting Thursday July 9! These sponsors in our community have been a continual support for our wonderful non profit concert series now in its 38th year! Concerts will be held on Thursdays 7-9 pm at the Gypsy Hill Park Bandstand in Staunton running weekly July 9- Sept. 3. Come out & enjoy the music - Free & open to the public, held rain or shine! 🎶

Stopped by to see the Abingdon Episcopal Church sign in Gloucester that I designed, painted & carved years ago & restored once.. it has recently been repainted & gold leafed & reinstalled with new lighting. It looks great! Happy to see it still standing & looking so good!

The historic Abington Episcopal Church sign in Gloucester Va. that I designed, carved, & painted years ago (& restored once) has now been completely restored with a beautiful repaint with added 22 karat gold leaf & reinstalled with new lighting .. looks great. Wonderful to see this sign up again, restored to its glory!

Thanks to Donald Otis Sandridge for sending me an update on the restoration of this sign that I was very proud of creating!

We brought some visiting relatives to see the Jumbo Museum here at the City of Staunton Fire Department at 500 N. Augusta St. Wanted to show them the mural I painted there in 1989. It’s worth stopping in to see if you ever want to visit the Jumbo Museum with the restored antique 1911 Jumbo Fire Engine .. Admission is free. It is the oldest motorized fire engine in Virginia.
