Celebrating the release of the book “The Best Of The Hack Mechanic: 35 years of hacks, kluges and assorted automotive mayhem from BMW CCA Roundel Magazine” by Rob Siegel. This is my fifth book design for the author, and the first time that “King+Sons Design Garage” (with “Garage”) appears in print. The 335-page book is full of entertaining articles and would make a great gift for any enthusiast.

Celebrating the launch of the King+Sons Design Garage website. Adding “Garage” to the name references both my love of cars and, as a design generalist, my “fix-it” approach. Also new is a “Customs” section for my design parody mashups. Over the years I’ve made hundreds of these as gifts for friends, and they’ve been well received. Thank you all for having “liked” this business page—even though I’ve completely ignored it!

This will soon change, as I finish a rebranding; welcome to “King+Sons Design Garage.” Here’s the new logo, and the website rebrand will soon follow. (Interestingly, when I ran this idea past my existing design clients, they were very enthusiastic—even though their industries are not automotive-related.)
