The newly renovated First Financial Center has officially unveiled its new identity in downtown Cincinnati, and Atlantic Sign Company was proud to play a major role in helping bring the project to life. Over the course of several months, Atlantic worked extensively throughout the building installing signage that now helps define the newly transformed space both inside and out.
As part of the renovation and rebranding effort, Atlantic installed more than 900 interior signs throughout the facility. From directional and wayfinding signage to branded interior graphics, the project required careful planning, coordination, and precision installation across the entire building. With ongoing construction activity throughout the renovation, Atlantic’s team worked closely with contractors and project managers to keep the installation process moving efficiently and safely.
Outside? That’s where things got really interesting.
Atlantic Sign Company installed three separate sets of illuminated channel letters displaying the First Financial Center name high above downtown Cincinnati. Completing the installation required a 110-ton crane, a 150-foot lift, and Atlantic’s own crane trucks to safely maneuver and install the massive exterior signage. Due to the complexity and location of the work, Atlantic also coordinated directly with the City of Cincinnati for safety planning, traffic control, and temporary road closures during critical phases of the installation.
Projects like this don’t happen overnight. They take teamwork, logistics, problem-solving, and a crew willing to tackle challenges head-on. Atlantic’s installation team did an outstanding job throughout every phase of the project, working through the challenges of a busy downtown jobsite with professionalism and attention to detail. The effort was led by lead foreman Austin, whose leadership and coordination helped keep the project moving safely and efficiently from start to finish.
Atlantic Sign Company is incredibly proud of the work its team put into this transformation and honored to have played a part in another major Cincinnati project. Next time you’re downtown, look up — you’ll see a little piece of Atlantic Sign Company lighting up the skyline.
