This past week’s Westside Referral Builders member highlight is Jane Ripberger, owner of Home Instead – West Side Cincinnati.

Jane is a lifelong West Sider, a former nurse, and has spent more than 40 years caring for aging adults. This isn’t just a business for her — it’s work she genuinely has a heart for.

Home Instead helps older adults stay safe, comfortable and independent in their own homes, while also giving family caregivers some much-needed support.

Their Care Pros can help with things like:
• Bathing and personal care
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Transportation and errands

Member Highlight: Kevin McBride | Civista Bank

Yesterday at Westside Referral Builders, we got to hear from Kevin McBride with Civista Bank.

With 29 years in the mortgage industry, Kevin brings a ton of experience to the table and works with buyers to get them pre-approved and in the strongest position possible when it’s time to purchase a home.

One thing that really stood out to me was the variety of options Civista can offer, including:

• Up to 100% financing with a fixed rate and no PMI for eligible buyers through their Community View program
• In-house and portfolio lending options that can create solutions when traditional financing may not fit
• Specialized financing for medical professionals — including a physician loan program

And something I learned yesterday: CRNAs (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists) may have financing opportunities through Civista that they don’t always find with other lenders.

Kevin also shared how committed Civista is to supporting the communities they serve — something that fits perfectly with what Westside Referral Builders is all about.

Westside Referral Builders is a group of local professionals who believe in doing business with care, conviction, and people we trust enough to refer our own clients to.

We meet once a month, build real relationships, and help each other grow through referrals.

We only allow ONE business per profession — which means we have a limited number of seats, and your profession might be one we’re missing.

We already have Insurance, Realtor, Mortgage Lender, Photography, Investments, Senior Care, Home Care, Senior Home Placement, Moving & Storage, Title, Contractor and several others represented.

Our next meeting is this Thursday, September 3rd.
