SUPER HOT PIZZA ALERT 🔥🍕🍷
has been popping up every Sunday at since JUNE, and I'm kicking myself in the a$$ for not getting there sooner!
Companion Pizza, run by chef Matt Owens, considers his pizza to be Neapolitan-ish,” crispy and chewy with bubbling crust and leopard spotting on the bottom. He has developed his own slow dough process where he cold ferments the dough for 72 hours ✨
He's blending together fresh, high-quality ingredients that are truly a work of art, mixing sweet and savory with unique flavor combinations 😋
BONUS - Oakley Wines is offering Wine Roulette ALL DAY on Sunday! For $7 you get a mystery wine (you are allowed to specify white or red!)
Here's what we had (menu rotates):
🍕Bloody Mary pizza: house vodka sauce, fresh
mozzarella, cornichon, pepperoncini, Castelvetrano olive, candied
bacon, shaved celery and a celery seed crust
🍕Butternut Squash pizza: butternut squash
mascarpone base, goat cheese, caramelized red onion, hazelnut
salsa macha, cilantro salsa verde, micro sprouts
🍕Finocchiona pizza: caramelized fennel cream sauce, taleggio, shaved brussel sprouts, red onion, pistachio, spicy calabrian buckwheat honey, fennel fronds
🍕Lemon Ricotta pizza: Meyer lemon cream sauce, capers, scallion, Calabrian peppers, ricotta rosettes and lemon zest
🥗Waldorf Salad - do not sleep on the salad!
There’s no way I could possibly choose a fav because they were legit all so perfect!
