It’s been years… YEARS… since I’ve posted on this account. I’ve been building websites for clients for over a decade and I’ve mostly relied on word of mouth. (I still believe it’s one of the best forms of marketing out there, and it’s been used for centuries.) But a lot of people either forget I build websites and shoot photos and do other types of digital media, or they think I stopped all together to focus on other things. So I figured, why not get back to social media on all of my accounts (I have about 15-20 IG accounts… ya, I know). When I’m a customer or fan of something, or someone, or a business… I always check social first to see what they’re up to. Sometimes I have to put myself in my client’s shoes (or potential client’s shoes) and think how they would think. If I’m not posting, it makes sense to think I don’t build websites anymore. I never knew of a good way to share my web design business on social, so here I am doing it anyway… whatever makes sense in the moment. Like these photos. This was last Saturday at my vendor booth at a local car show, but one of my longtime website clients needed a website to launch at 1pm. So I had my laptop setup while I was selling tshirts in the middle of the event. This is what the entrepreneur life looks like! Some of my clients laugh when I tell them what my “office of the day” looks like when I’m working on their website. Sometimes in my studio, sometimes at a car show, sometimes in an Airbnb in Scotland. You just never know. But I get the work done and that’s what matters, not my location.
