We’ve been in peak frosty weather lately, but these saturated colors going onto this rain barrel mural for the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden and Hamilton County Conservation District have been brightening up my workspace! 🌈

About half the palette is up now — and seeing it build layer by layer never gets old.

Grateful to do work that literally adds color to the world.

If you’re dreaming up a mural project for your brand or space, let’s talk 🎨

Progress check time!

The rain barrel mural is officially prepped and ready for paint. Sanded smooth, primed (multiple coats later 😅), and the full jungle scene is now mapped out in chalk.

Not the most glamorous step, but an important one. Taking the time to prep and map everything out before the paint comes out.

Next up: bringing the foliage, movement, and wildlife to life on this barrel for the Rain Barrel Art Project with Save Local Waters, Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, and Hamilton County Conservation District.

More progress soon ✨

🌿 A Wild New Art Project 🌿

I’m so excited to share that I’ve been selected as an artist for the Rain Barrel Art Project in partnership with Save Local Waters, Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, and the Hamilton County Conservation District! 🐾💧

This spring, I’ll be hand-painting a rain barrel with a bold, playful jungle scene filled with vibrant foliage and curious animals—all celebrating wildlife, conservation, and creativity. I’ve included a sneak peek of my sketch, and I can’t wait to bring it to life 🎨✨

The finished barrel will be displayed at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden and later auctioned to support local water conservation efforts. More progress photos, behind-the-scenes peeks, and bidding info coming soon!

Feeling incredibly grateful for opportunities like this—and excited for what’s ahead 💛

Happy New Year! 🎊

Ringing in 2026 by sharing a project that made Emily & Kyles’s NYE wedding unforgettable... custom temporary tattoos!

From the disco ball to their pups (the real party animals), each design was created just for them. Nothing better than watching your work come alive in the wild on a night full of celebration!

Feeling excited and grateful stepping into 2026, and looking forward to taking on more custom illustration and branding work this year. And congrats to the newly weds!

Ringing in the New Year by celebrating two incredible friends!✨

I’m so excited to share a project that meant a lot to me. I had the joy of designing Emily & Kyle’s New Year’s Eve Save the Date!

The front features a hand-drawn champagne tower illustration, and the back highlights one of their favorite photos together.
It’s such a gift to create pieces that become part of life’s biggest moments. I’m looking forward to taking on more design projects like this as I continue building my freelance business in the new year.

Cheers to your wedding day, I couldn’t be happier for you both! And a Happy New Year to all!🥂💛

I’m excited to share a recent project that was so much fun to work on! This season, I designed the educational program booklet for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra’s Young People’s Concert series — including branding for both shows and the full program for The Great Debate.

Seeing photos of the booklet in action at Music Hall with kids pointing at illustrations and smiling was so special. It was shared with me that one 3-year-old said the booklet “felt like a birthday party,” and honestly… that might be the cutest feedback I’ve ever received. 🎉

Collaborating with the CSO team is always such a meaningful experience, and being part of programs that inspire the next generation of music lovers and creatives is something I’m incredibly grateful for.

Sharing photos from the event and a few closer looks at the design!

Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to speak to a group of about 60 girls through She Became a nonprofit that helps girls explore careers, build confidence, and connect with mentors.

My talk was all about what it’s like to be a graphic designer and mural artist, and how design goes far beyond visuals. It’s about solving problems, shaping experiences, and creating meaningful work. I shared how I found my way into art and design almost by accident, how my career has grown to blend creativity with strategy, and why your work doesn’t define your worth. It was a reminder to keep chasing the things that bring you joy.

Afterward, the girls became “graphic designers” for the day, creating their own logos. Their ideas were so creative and full of personality!

Huge thanks to the She Became volunteers in Fort Thomas for inviting me to be part of such a meaningful program.💜
