August started with a donor campaign that raised email engagement by 57 percent, and continued with a technical client who showed we're not just a nonprofit agency. It ended with work on a responsible AI badge that has nothing to do with billing, and everything to do with why we do this.

Eight months into the year, the range of our work still surprises us. None of it happens without the whole team.

If your organization belongs in one of these stories, let's start talking. Booking link in the comments.

Every strategy we build comes from two places at once. Cincinnati, where our agency is based today. And Harare, where our founder, Clara, first learned that a good story can move a room before anyone spends a dollar.

That perspective shapes how we look at a brand problem, informed by two very different markets instead of one.

As we grow toward having a presence in both cities, that perspective keeps shaping our work.

If you want a partner who sees your organization from more than one angle, let's talk. Booking link in the comments.

A board chairman told us his team felt stuck going into a rebrand. Everyone agreed something needed to change, but no one had found the right words yet.

We led a steady process that helped the team say, finally, what they'd been trying to say for years. The new brand and website gave donors and volunteers a clear picture of the mission right away.

Watching a team find its own story again is the part of this work we care about most.

If your team feels stuck in that same place, let's talk. Booking link in the comments.

We're a few months into building a responsible AI badge for Cincinnati organizations with CincyAI for Humans. The hardest part has been agreeing on what trust actually looks like across a room of very different organizations, more than pinning down a definition of AI risk.

A badge only means something if the standard behind it is real. So the group is testing the framework against real examples before anything gets published.

This work has nothing to do with client billing, but it shapes how we think about every AI rollout we help plan for a client.

A foundation we advised started using AI for grant reports. The results were flat and generic, until they matched the tool to their own way of telling stories and trained staff to use it alongside their own voice.

That's exactly the gap our AI Readiness Assessment is built to catch, before you spend money on a tool your team isn't ready to use well.

The best time to take the assessment is before you buy anything. There's still room to adjust course.

Curious where your team stands? Take the assessment, or let's talk. Link in the comments.

The Mission Ready AI Field Guide is live, as a full interactive tool rather than something you download once and forget about.

It's a tool you use, not just something you read. Take a readiness assessment that scores your team as you go. Copy real prompts into any AI tool you already use. Build a governance policy. Follow a 90-day plan you can check off one step at a time. You don't need a technical background to use it.

We built this from years of real conversations with the nonprofits and small businesses we work with.

Take a look, and let's talk about what this could look like for your team. Link in the comments.

A client gave us a logo and asked us to start there. We didn’t.

Before we designed anything, we needed to understand what WI Care Clinical Labs wanted patients to experience when they encountered the organization.

Clinical credibility mattered. So did clarity. But it couldn't feel cold or institutional. The brand needed to communicate that accurate testing and compassionate care could exist in the same place.

Those decisions eventually shaped the messaging, visual identity and the environmental graphics you see being installed here.

A logo matters. But a strong brand has to work long after someone stops looking at the logo.

That is the difference between designing something attractive and building an identity an organization can actually use.

If your brand needs to say more than your logo says right now, let's talk. Booking link in the comments.

A donor asked a hard question in public, and no one on our client's staff had an answer ready.

We spent that afternoon writing a short, honest response with the team. Then we built a plan so staff would have an answer ready the next time a hard question came up.

Every nonprofit gets a hard question eventually. Having a plan for that moment, before it happens, is a real part of strategic communications work.
If your team needs a plan like that, let's talk. Booking link in the comments.

A food-access nonprofit came to us wanting more engagement around Earth Day. We mailed seed kits to supporters statewide and kept families and funders connected through weekly gardening videos all season long. No exclamation points required.

The result was a 57 percent lift in email engagement and a campaign that positioned the organization as a real leader in its community.

If your organization wants numbers worth talking about, let's start that conversation. Booking link in the comments.

A community soup kitchen came to us wanting more than a standard donor thank-you gift, the kind that gets a polite nod and lives in a junk drawer.

We built the campaign around one word, Soupporter, and turned it into car decals and stickers people actually chose to display. A video series featuring the people the organization serves gave the work its heart, and outreach materials in several languages made sure everyone felt invited in.

Donors who once gave quietly started advocating for the mission on their own, which is either great marketing or proof everyone wants a bumper sticker with a pun on it.

If your organization wants a campaign people are proud to join, let's talk. Booking link in the comments.
