I've been loving and sharing pro liberation / anti oppression memes for a while now. And for a while now I've realized that this is great but it's not enough. Too much of the time our team's memes are circulating just among the already initiated. This is because we belong to self-selected groups of friends and/or follow our team's meme pages. Don't get me wrong, I'm about that -- we need our space
s -- but I *also* think that we should be taking space everywhere else too. Especially contested spaces, like the, uh, physical world and sh*t... Hence the name!: Just Meatspace Things. Just Meatspace Things is about pushing our memes into the offline world to carve out territory -- to create a sense among like minded folx that you've got friends out in the world and to put enemies on notice that they're not welcome. It's also about sharing our perspectives with people who haven't even thought about our ideas, hopes and dreams. And you know, assimilating those people into an unstoppable force for social revolution(s). I'm not kidding.
