At VMA, our Community Engagement team helps public agencies connect with the communities they serve through outreach, events, and meaningful conversations. For the Los Angeles County Community Forest Management Plan, VMA helped plan and execute community pop-up events where residents could learn about the project and share their feedback. We also worked alongside youth fellows from Los Angeles County’s Youth Workforce Experience Program, who joined us in the field to engage directly with community members. The VMA Communications Public Affairs team recently supported Covina-Valley Unified in producing its August Superintendent’s Update video with Dr. Jonathan Blackmore, featuring summer highlights and the return of students to campuses for the 2026-27 school year. From summer activities to back-to-school events, the video captures what’s happening across the District as the new school year gets underway. Our team supported the project from start to finish, including outline and script development, day-of filming and production coordination, and editing of the final video.
