We need more women in the trades 👷‍♀️🔨

That’s the driving belief that brought dozens of high school girls together at NAWIC O.C. Chapter #91’s summer camp at ABC SoCal’s Orange County training center in Anaheim.

My father works as an instructor at AGC Apprenticeship and spent the past few weeks building a hands on carpentry class to teach these young ladies the fundamentals of the trade.

It was very refreshing to see ABC SoCal, AGC, NAWIC, and these students come together to change the narrative around women in construction.

Thank you again for the opportunity, and thank you to my dad for the heads up 🙌

Congratulations to our new friends at Residence Inn Claremont by Marriott Hotels & Resorts for opening up shop in their stunning new extended stay hotel 🙌

Located right off the 10 freeway and Indian Hill, this luxurious new hotel is the perfect entryway to the City of Trees & PHDs. You literally cannot miss this gorgeous building as you enter the city. In fact, this is now the City of Claremont’s tallest building.

Our team had the opportunity to take an exclusive tour through the suites and got a chance the see the amenities first hand.

Guests are already lining up at the doors to book and we can see why!!

If you are a Marriott Bonvoy member, you have to book a night and check out their facilities for yourself. And if you have friends or family coming to visit the SGV or IE, set them up with Jenn and Ruth at Residence Inn so they can meet the wonderful team in charge!

Hey Claremont! Do you want to build an ADU on your property?

Javier Vega and D'Vega Builders, Inc. recently broke ground on a custom 499-square-foot, 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom ADU on 12th Street, helping a local homeowner create additional living space while contributing to the city’s growing housing needs.

As ADUs continue to gain popularity across California, many Claremont homeowners are exploring how these thoughtfully designed homes can support multigenerational living, provide housing for family members, or create long-term value on their property.

The first-ever SoCal Business Bash is officially in the books!

What started as an idea one year ago became a reality last week as hundreds of business owners, community leaders, chamber members, elected officials, clients, friends, and family came together to celebrate community, collaboration, and growth.

When it came time for our ribbon cutting, we didn't want to simply tell people what Marm Media does.

We wanted to show them.

A World Cup watch party. Angel Rodriguez Live radio on KCAA RADIO. Stand-up comedy from Bruce Jingles. Business networking. Local businesses showcasing their services. Community leaders sharing their stories. And hundreds of meaningful conversations throughout the day.

Most importantly, we saw people connecting with people.

To everyone who attended, sponsored, volunteered, donated raffle prizes, spoke during the ceremony, performed, or helped behind the scenes, thank you. This event would not have been possible without you.
