Ever heard of Time-Delayed Retargeting? If not, then listen up because this strategy helped us generate a consistent 17x ROAS for National MRI Scan...

We spent $5,787 over a year long period to generate $103,288. So we were only investing about $15-20 a day.

National MRI Scan did not run ANY Facebook Ads before coming to us, but they did run a fair amount of Google Ads, and were gaining solid local SEO rankings for keywords related to their services.

So we decided to use Facebook Ads to retarget all traffic that landed on the site but did not convert. If they left the site, they saw the following sequence of ads...

Days 1-3 - Establish Credibility & Call Back To Action

One of the biggest objections people have when it comes to buying things online, is an objection of credibility... Is this site going to deliver on their promises... Or are they going to rob me blind?

It's your job as a brand to transfer your confidence in your ability to live up to your promises, to your prospective customer.

Days 4-7 - Common Enemy

Next, we showed them ads centered around the "Common Enemies" in relation to National MRI Scan. The #1 Common Enemy is the NHS Waiting List.

We positioned ads against the NHS Waiting List that worked like a charm. "You could either wait and not know what's going on, or book with us and get peace of mind immediately."

Days 8-11 - Customer Testimonial Ads

This one's self explanatory... We created an array of ads that featured the best customer reviews that helped us do the selling from the POV of happy customers.

Days 12-15 - Have Questions Before Booking?

Folks have questions, and you need to have answers readily available. We decided to allow people to message the company's FB Page to ask questions, which was also connected to a Chat Bot that handled the FAQs.

Days 16-19 - Hard CTA Ad

We created ads that were focused on the top pain points and benefits of booking with National MRI Scan over the other options available. And tested coupons to try to get people off the fence.

We found the coupons didn't give us a significant life over not providing coupons, so we cut them.

Days 20-21 - Crossroads

These are my favorite to write and ideate creatives for. Essentially you paint a picture of the way your prospect's life will be if they move forward with you, and what their life will look like if they DON'T move forward with you.

This can make for some very interesting and engaging creatives, depending on the industry and how good you are at turning your product or service into something more "above the shoulders".
---
The above Time-Delayed Retargeting Strategy is applicable to a ton of different industries. The reality is, this is how you SELL to people online in a way that educates them and provides a great experience.

Do you see how you could leverage this in your business?

Hit us up and we'll share our recently updated Retargeting Strategy with you.

Would you invest $25k over 2 months to create a revenue stream that goes on to produce $1M+ over a 12 month period? 🤔

Well, that's exactly what we did with Physician's Choice's Thin 30 Probiotic... Except they made over $3M in their first year. 💪

How did we do it? By using Facebook Ads to drive traffic to a Landing Page with a very strategic Chat Bot sequence that helped us generate On-Demand Amazon Reviews, compliantly. 🔑

📈 In August 2021, we launched our first campaign and over a 2 month period... We generated over 200 reviews on the Thin 30 Probiotic product listing, which helped us rank the product in the top spots for "probiotics for weight loss" & "weight loss probiotics". (Go search it yourself and it's still, probably always will, have the top spot.)

🚀 It's now October 2022, and this single product listing has generated over 14,000 reviews, they sold 100s of thousands of units of a $23 product (with dirt cheap COGS) and all we did was invest a measly $25k, in the right places, to generate millions in revenue.

And millions, upon millions to come over a lifetime, without having to spend any more money on marketing or advertising for this particular product.

What would a success like this do for the trajectory of your company? I bet it would allow you to grow your company much more confidently, the same way Physician's Choice has been able to use their success to invest in more and more studies, supplements, and ultimately more revenue streams. 💯

➡️ If you need to rank your product on Amazon in the top spot for your product's top keywords... Hit us up and we'll help you figure out how you can generate On-Demand Amazon Reviews for your products, in a compliant manner.

Feel free to ask any questions in the comments, we got answers for you and love talking about this stuff!

Sometimes it can be hard to tell what makes a “good” ad. One way to tell is by how concise the copy is.

If your ads aren’t performing as they should, consider simplifying the message. How can you tell when your message is resonating with your audience?

Scripts: Ads can do a lot of things, but they can’t do this.

They can’t tell the entire story of who you are and what you do.

They’re an introduction, not the entire book.

“But,” you may say, “I want people to know three or five or twelve things about my company and what we do! How can I fit everything I need into my ad?

The short answer? Make your ad as short and to the point as you possibly can.

Let me show you what we mean:

Bad ad copy: “I started my female-owned chocolate company when I was 36 in my dad’s garage after my career in finance came to a screeching halt.”

Better ad copy: “Chocolate for women, by women.”

Simple is memorable. Do your ads make the cut?

This shouldn’t be a controversial opinion, but it is.

Your marketing should work for you. You should get back what you put in - and with interest. You should see a return on your investment, always.

When you run ads, you should recoup your ad spend through sales.

When you set up email campaigns, the leads they nurture should pay for the marketing investment to create them.

When you create a website, the conversion rate should offset your web designer’s fee.

But - and we can’t stress this enough - this is not how the vast majority of marketers operate.

So today, we’re inviting you to ask this all-important question with us: is it working?

What is working for your marketing efforts right now? What isn’t?

Sometimes, all your agency’s marketing plans just go to pot.

Sometimes this is because this is the nature of marketing.

Other times, this is because they’re not really working in your best interest.

Here are three questions to ask to help you figure out your best next steps.

Do you own a business website? Don’t fall victim to this scam!

Domain slamming happens when the scammer tricks you into switching domain registration companies.

They trick you into giving them sensitive personal payment information, and then send you a notice that your domain is about to expire.

The information looks legitimate because it has all of your business information, like your domain name and personal name!

The notice isn’t from the company your domain is actually registered in.

Surprisingly, this information is readily accessible on Whois.com, so anyone could potentially connect you to your website.

An easy way to avoid this scam? Keep tabs on who your domain provider actually is. If you get any notifications from anyone besides your provider, ignore them.

(A lot of these scams will also have incorrect grammar and spelling mistakes in the body of the email or in the email address itself - a tried and true sign of scam emails!)

If there’s any doubt, you can always get in touch with your domain’s provider before providing sensitive information to a potential scammer.

Be wary when a company encourages you to switch your domain name over to them. Always, always, keep control of your domain name.

Have you ever gotten a call from one of these scammers?

Hey guys, John here. I was thinking about websites the other day and realized something . . .

Not having a button on a web page will cost you.

Not having a simple landing page will cost you.

Not having an easily navigable website will cost you.

Conversions will be low. You’ll have to fight tooth and nail for SEO ranking. And your web traffic will be abysmal.

Guys, web design makes all the difference.

You can have the best ads in the world. You can have a huge social following. But if your website isn’t designed to support your audience (and sales), you’re going to drown.

How are you optimizing your website for conversions and accessibility? Has not doing so cost you sales?

Andrea here today with a little known fact: ads aren’t just for selling.

Ads, like most other marketing tools, can be used in a variety of ways to boost your business. Sales are - and should be - a big part of that. But there are many other ways they can benefit you.

How many of these have you heard of?

We don’t believe in contracts. We do believe in your ROI, however.

We don’t ask our clients to sign monthly contracts. Because we believe that when you see our results, it’ll be only practical to continue the partnership.

Your paid media will actually bring in sales. Your email sequences will start converting more. Your website will increase in traffic - and revenue.

We don’t make you sign anything that locks you in or makes you promise you’ll stick with us for a certain period of time. Instead, we make our services so effective that you won’t want to go anywhere else.

We believe in earning your business every month.

It’s simple, but we find it’s a truly effective way to do business.

Controversial opinion: “marketing costs” is a stupid phrase.

“Marketing costs” include ad spend, social media marketing, email newsletters, and web funnels and design. But the term “cost” is a little misleading.

“Cost” encourages you to think of the spend without its effects. The effect of all marketing spend should be to increase your revenue and drive your growth. Whatever you spend on your marketing efforts, you should see a correlating effect in your growth. Maybe you want to see more conversions for your ads. Maybe you want better click funnels on your website. Maybe you want to sell more in your online shop.

So “cost” is a poor term to use because it doesn’t describe the whole process. You should recoup most of what you’ve spent in sales or, at the very least, in audience growth and retention.

What you spend on marketing is an investment - you want to see that money come back to you in some way.

This also helps frame how we think about marketing and what we expect it to do for us. We’ve seen too many companies spend indiscriminately on their marketing, with no real idea about what exactly they’ve been able to get in return for their spend.

What has your marketing investment done for you recently? We’d love to hear in the comments below.

If you’ve been running a PPC campaign and not seeing results, this may be why.

We hate to say it, but it happens: some “agencies” steal their client’s PPC spend.

How can you tell? If your PPC is generating very few leads - or none at all.

PPC campaigns aren’t like SEO results; this effort should generate leads right off the bat.

There are two factors that confuse this issue:

First, not all companies know how much they’re spending on ads. So it can be really difficult for them to figure how much their agency is taking from that amount.

Make sure you know exactly how much you’re spending on your campaigns. Many agencies will add their own percentage fee on top of that to cover their services - often about 15%. If it’s more than that, take caution.

Second, many companies don’t know how much their leads should cost. If every potential lead costs$10, and you spend $100 a month on ads, you should have ten potential leads contact you every month.

Most reputable agencies will be able to estimate this amount for you, but if you can get a second opinion from an industry professional.

What’s been your experience with PPC ads? What have your returns been like?
