We’ve loved stepping in as a fractional communications director for the The Laughlin Family Foundation for Rare Cancers partnering closely with their team to strengthen content development across channels, with a special focus on their email newsletter. ✨
With a diverse and highly engaged email audience that includes donors, patients, doctors, researchers, and community members, we saw an opportunity to create a more consistent rhythm of communication. Together, we launched a monthly newsletter to share their work, key updates, and important announcements.
Since January, that consistency has paid off—culminating in an incredible 50% open rate for their April newsletter.
