You won’t need a sticker on your license plate much longer. Yesterday Governor Little signed House Bill 533 into law. The bill removes the need for annual registration stickers. It clarifies that a license plate and registration is good enough.
The state expects to save $300,000 from the elimination of materials and costs associated with making the stickers.
The law takes effect on July 1st. There is no change to the cost of registering your vehicle.
