Finding your person is so unique. Loving someone is the one thing that requires both ease and constant work.

When the puppy love fades and life gets real, it’s about loving the person who challenges you, grows with you, and can giggle in the Kroger coffee isle with you on a random Tuesday.

Sure you pick them based on attraction and the first few months of thinking they are somehow perfect. But once you realize the hard parts are worth pursuing too, it gets so much better.

Man I am SO lucky to capture and hear endless love stories from you all.

Though social media can be misleading (especially around the matching sweater Christmas couples posts and holiday engagements, I know) I hope following authentic photographers gives you hope that it can be real and worth it in what can look hopeless in a world of TikTok and terrible facebook dating group content. I hope this page feels like a safe place to believe in it all. I hope you still save ideas to Pinterest. I hope you still have a dream venue. And I hope one day you have it all.

One thing I do before shooting my clients dream session, is meet up- hang out, have a drink, hear their story. It is so important to me to tell raw and real stories here while providing a space for authentic moments. I am so excited for another year of joining you on all the beautiful adventures that are coming your way.

What an honor to be a part of Kat and Tin’s big day and witness such a beautiful ceremony!

For those who aren’t familiar with this tradition, a Vietnamese tea ceremony is a formal wedding tradition where the groom’s family visits the bride’s family to formally ask for her hand in marriage and honor both families’ ancestors.

During the ceremony, the couple serves tea to their elders as a gesture of respect and gratitude. There is an exchange of gifts and the offering feast is brought for everyone to enjoy after the conclusion of the full ceremony.

What a day, what a stunning celebration, what a couple. 🍾🥂🫖

Oh, we’re so back. 🌶️

I realize I took a year and a half social hiatus and for someone who works in media, I also understand that was an insane choice.

But I’m going to be so honest. I was saving room for booking referrals and repeat clients while also having a wildly limited schedule and facing the worst burnout I have ever experienced. I took a step back from posting, advertising, branding because I simply needed to make sure I still had the spark for every single client that stood in front of my lens.

And you know what, I am so glad I risked growth and glitters over the last year and a half. I’m so glad that something I am passionate about didn’t become an inconvenience in the midst of the most over extended time of my life. I know that’s backwards.

I will always advocate to protect your passions from burnout but don’t stop them either. Continue putting in the work, just do it quietly. That is SO OK!! I pride myself so much on ensuring your sessions are made with excitement, creativity, and fun. Photos are so so special to me and I want to make sure i truly SHOW UP for you.

Thank you so much for anyone who referred me and all of my incredible repeat clients for keeping me in mind without social media’s silly little reminders. 🫶🏼

And all my photographer friends, good god y’all kick ass every day doing it all. Grateful to be surrounded by so much creativity.

With some recent extreme life changes, I have made room to be relevant. I won’t keep up with every trend or post daily but I am SO excited to share what’s been up the last lil while. 🍾 (and maybe after my fight with my web platform [im lookin @ up my nemesis, vista print] I’ll have my beautiful new website redesigned and live hehe)
