I am a stay at home mom that loves to create new items and have a passion for creating smiles through my work with embroidery. Then I moved into sewing.

Welcome to Exclusively Yours Embroidery! We specialize in custom embroidery as well as felt toys, home decor, and a variety of other products. My name is Lani and I am the owner of Exclusively Yours Embroidery. My husband helps me run the business by being my "behind the scenes" guy and helps with all the technical aspects of the business. I have two beautiful daughters that inspire me to find my

passion every day. I began embroidery when I was a teenager. My grandmother used to bring me embroidery kits from the local craft store on occasion. I started learning how to hand stitch the designs on my own with these kits. In 2001, my husband bought me my very first sewing machine. This was meant to save some money when it came time to update his uniforms but it sparked an interest in me that has stuck around. Eventually I started sewing patches onto my daughters scout uniforms and sewing items such as baby blankets in my spare time. In 2013, we bought my first embroidery machine. After learning how to hand stitch all of the embroidery stitches, learning the machine was a daunting task. I completed small orders for friends and family during the next year while building my skill knowledge and learning what all I could do with this gigantic machine. A year later, I decided to jump in feet first and launch my business. I have a background in engraving and love to work with clients to create the perfect gift for their loved ones. I will work with you until your order is exactly the way you want it.

✨ Meet the Maker: Lani from Exclusively Yours Embroidery ✨

Hi there, friends! I’m Lani — the face, heart, and hands behind Exclusively Yours Embroidery. Around here, I wear all the hats: creative designer, business owner, customer service rep, shipping manager… you name it, I do it! But before we get to the business, let me share a little bit about who I am. 💕

I’m the proud wife of a retired sailor, and for the first 19 years of our adult lives, my husband and I followed wherever the Navy sent us. Some places were absolutely breathtaking, and others… well, not so much. But every stop shaped who we are today. I’m also a mom to two amazing grown kids who are out there making their own way in the world. You might hear me mention them from time to time, but like most adults, they appreciate their privacy.

My embroidery journey began at the end of 2013 when we bought my first machine. Most people start small, but not me — I dove right in with a 10-needle machine that honestly intimidated me at first. I started with traditional embroidery, personalizing clothing and other items for the kids.

Then, I discovered the magic of In the Hoop Projects — where entire creations are made right inside the embroidery hoop! From keychains and felt masks to tic-tac-toe games and pencil toppers, my creativity took off. While I’ve left pencil toppers behind, my felt masks have become a Halloween favorite, and I’ve expanded to dress-up sets that let kids’ imaginations run wild.

One of my favorite parts of this creative journey is bringing other people’s ideas to life. There’s nothing like seeing someone light up over something made just for them. My kids keep trying to talk me into exploring cosplay next… and who knows? My creative path may lead me there one day.

Happy National Dog Day!

These are my 2 pups. Finley is the younger of the 2 and keeps me on my toes while Angel is the quietest husky that I've ever known....until she gets mouthy....but that only happens at home!

Hey there! Is this thing on? It is? Ok good!

Guess what!? Starting today, I'm back! Life has pulled me in a few directions lately and things needed my attention but as of now, I am getting back to my creative work!

Things are going to be changing a little bit though. Don't be scared. Change is good! In this case, change means new products are coming 😁

Currently, the website is undergoing an overhaul. As I am growing, so is my creativity and what I want to offer. This means that what was offered on the website and how it was offered, just wasn't working. So, I'm changing it up. I could use a lot of computer and website design lingo here but just know it is taking longer than expected. So for the time being, items will be listed in the Etsy shop.

So keep checking back here for updates and to see what I'm working on!
