Back at it again, witches. 🧙🏼‍♀️✨

This time we stopped by Witch Toppoki in Troy and it might be one of the most fun dining experiences I’ve had in a while. 🍜🔥

Think all-you-can-eat, build-your-own hot pot, endless ingredients, and a full spread of Korean street food classics ready to grab between rounds. The service was incredible and the flavors absolutely delivered.

We started with the “Happy Song” spicy broth (which definitely lives up to its name… and its heat 😅🔥). Eventually we had to tap out and switch to the “Rose Dance” broth, a creamy, non-spicy option that was the perfect way to finish the meal.

Bonus: their signature cocktails are included in their all-day happy hour — which made the whole experience even more fun.

Also… if you’ve noticed I haven’t been posting as much lately, I’ll be sharing more about that soon. Between some new gluten-free allergies, trying to reset some unhealthy habits, and figuring out what the next phase of Made In Metro looks like, it’s been a bit of a transition behind the scenes.

But don’t worry — we’re still out here finding the GOOD food.💁🏻‍♀️

Once upon a bite… 🐺✨
is the perfect mix of story, flavor, and creativity — dreamed up by a husband-and-wife duo who truly nailed it. They just opened in Clawson and it is a must try if you live in the area.

From the bao bun slider, tomato soup with grilled cheese, and that smash burger… everything was a hit and left us craving more.

We’ll be back soon for more 🧺

With so many small businesses closing we are trying to keep our small family business going which is proving to be difficult the past few weeks! Two nights in a row we’ve had 6 tables total of 14 guest, week days are extremely slow while weekends are some what normal. Two good nights can not support a business and especially our employees and their families. We are not asking for your pitty, only to consider supporting our small family business the next time you decide to enjoy a night out or a carry out dinner. We greatly appreciate all of the customers who have dined with us for the past 21 years! Thank You!!!
