Let’s talk about post styling! 💡

I styled this photo myself, where I posed as a book club customer. 📕

I am a big proponent of starting with what you have- you don’t always need to rent space and purchase a ton of props! This space was available to me FOR FREE because I had lived in the building. 💰

I brought the table props - the light bulb and mug- to infuse the photo with a cozy atmosphere. 🤓

The plant and chair were already available in the room, but I moved them to this corner because I loved the texture of the wall + curtain. 🥰

And can you believe I took this photo on an iPhone (in portrait mode)?! 📱

is a force to be reckoned with. As my mom, she’s taught me how to be selfless and when to raise my voice. She’s taught me how to be a woman, and she raised me to be confident but humble, strong but kind, and bright but not boastful. Thanks, mom! 🌷

Let me say that again: the best time to post is not when you think it is.

As marketing professionals, we're taught the "burrito principle," the concept that you should post when your clients are in line at the taco truck, waiting for their burrito, aimlessly scrolling social media. But it's not 2014 anymore.

What if your target audience is composed of retirees, who don't stick to a set schedule? What if you're trying to reach always-on-the-go moms? Meet your audience where they're at, not when it's convenient for you.

Reaching busy moms can be as simple as posting when they are in the school pickup line, killing time on their phones. When it comes to retirees, give them the option to find your content in an exclusive group (like Facebook Groups) where they can participate at their own pace.

A few weeks ago, our Founder teamed up with photographer Diana Galay to send two coats to Ukrainian children in need. WKYC Channel 3 - Cleveland heard about our mission and was kind enough to spread our story.

I didn’t want to stop there, so I started a fundraiser here to continue to do good.

Is anyone else as frustrated and disheartened by the sheer craziness of the world these days? First, a drawn-out pandemic, and then Russia invading Ukraine? It feels like we’re on a bad news rollercoaster with no end in sight.

Being a new, serviced-based business means we don’t have a product to share to donate to , so we’ve been keeping our eye out for local businesses whose proceeds or partial proceeds are supporting Ukraine. We want to help flip the narrative from bad news to good news as much as we can.
