In 2018 someone looked at me deeply and said, “when I look at you, I see a coach.” I had no idea what he meant, but his words captivated me. I was in the jungles of Costa Rica at the Wild Leadership Training. On the surface, I was just a social media manager. But on the inside, I was a woman with big dreams of making an impact. I knew I had overcome the WORST of circumstances and still found a way to keep going, to smile in the face of adversity. I knew in that moment, there were people out there who needed my help. So I said yes, I began coaching a beautiful woman for free. She’d gone through similar tragedy as I had and she graciously let me meet with her regularly to see if I could really do this whole coaching thing. Here’s what she said,
“In 8 weeks I felt empowered & supported. And I formed a bond with Jordan that still has a ripple effect in my day to day life. I remember her questions, I recall her way of calming the mind, and I still hear her guidance working through the moments that it’s needed.”
Still it took me years to create a full on coaching program. I finally did it. And the two ladies you see in this picture are two of the first people to say yes and have a seat in my program.
These two women are living, breathing testaments to what happens when you say yes to your calling. Being able to be their mentor fills me with purpose. And getting to meet them in person after more than a year of working together was just AMAZING! I’m not sure if they know how much they mean to me, so it’s my intention of this post to express just that.
Today is Tess’s birthday, the lovely lady in the middle. And just a couple weeks ago was Sam’s birthday. Happy Birthday to you Tess and Happy Birthday month to Sam! Help me wish these ladies a happy birthday!
Let this post be to you a reminder of the miracles that will happen when you say yes to the nudges you get to shift directions. You are surrounded by Angels and God uses them to communicate with you. I believe that gentleman I met in Costa Rica was my Angel that day. He planted a seed of infinite possibilities and I’m so grateful I have what it takes to continue cultivating the fruits it bears today.
