We have been working with Fairmount Presbyterian Church (an amazing group of people!) since last summer, to distill their core values and communicate them more effectively with their congregation and the broader community. One of the “storylines” we have developed together is “Faith In Action.” Here is a video of a tender, private moment of faith in action: sweet Jane serving her church by setting up the sanctuary with great care.
Odin and I have loved turning strategy into story with ! 🙏✨💕

Ooohhhhh wow... I said I wanted this year to be the Year of Discovery for me... I wasn't ready!
If you've followed my journey with Dreamhouse for a while, it's clearly been an evolutionary process to witness! Over the past two years alone; Transitioning from being a [Full-Service Inbound Marketing Agency] to a [Boutique Consulting House] is a process in and of itself, but developing a business that specializes in supporting people as they generate meaningful conversations through storytelling, strategy, and connection... THAT is something worth being "up to" in life!
•
I have made so many powerful discoveries about myself along the way... we all have this past year! Even tonight, as Michael and I sat on the couch having an unplanned 5-hour long conversation about identity, values, and life mission, things became ever clearer.
•
I exist in this universe to create connection, envision the future, create action; to engage, inspire, and empower the people around me to fulfill on what matters most to them. Michael exists to create space for people to feel complete; Truly seeing, championing, and intuitively showcasing their vulnerable, authentic self-expression.
Dreamhouse is an extension of the rich beauty and strength that comes from us walking in the destinies we are here to create!

Life (and, of course, work) on that path is so deeply satisfying and rewarding. Tonight's discovery is this: If I stray from my "calling," it pulls energy from every other part of my life, diluting my performance and results. In turn, The more intentional I am about what I invest my energy into, the more life I get from the process!

Michael and I have been a part of a six-month performance development course called "BEING A LEADER" with Leaders Team. As a part of our homework, one of our initiatives is called Dreamhouse Foundations: a total restructuring of our operations, roles, and strategy, equipping Dreamhouse to foster a world where brands are committed to and capable of communicating authentically and building relationships with the people who matter most to them.

Over the last 6 months, we've flipped this business upside down, and as we complete the course this week, I'm thrilled to share some of the transformations we've made in the process!
•
We have successfully integrated Michael into the Dreamhouse team as our Director of Creative Projects and Partnerships. As he further discovered and distinguished his strengths, we created clear roles and responsibilities for him. A big part of this was getting my own mind organized enough to hand off all of the nonsense in my head, empowering him to execute for our clients at a high level. Now, he not only produces creative content for Dreamhouse, but he also organizes our finances, manages our project timelines, contributes to strategy development, and oversees our community partnerships!

This has allowed for a powerful expansion of our creative and community work with clients and has also given me more freedom to engage in the deep strategic conversations that allow our clients to connect to powerful solutions and realize their own dreams.

i got a real bad cold and had to take yesterday off to rest. michael and mike made me a perfect grilled cheese and soup and tea and took care of me and snuggled me. feeling grateful for the unexpected day of rest... i haven’t been doing a great job of that lately. i have started to develop a really clear vision of the next iteration of dreamhouse and i am really excited. through some powerful work on my own leadership performance and critical partnerships with really gifted people... we are up to something so much bigger than ever before and it feels good. but finding a day to rest and rebalance feels good too. take care, be gentle, and keep dreaming. more soon!
