What is PR?

PR agencies do three things
1) host events
2) promote awareness
3) address issues by improving public perception

Here at MC, Big River Strategies is a student-run PR agency. Although we may not be as witty as Wendy’s in creating brand awareness, we seek to do all three for our clients - whatever they need.

Our biggest client is Mission Mississippi, a racial reconciliation organization based in Jackson. Our work with them right now includes hosting an event and promoting awareness of their organization on campus!

BRS is far from expert, but we seek professionalism in all that we do!
