Historical Society of Clinton invites all to this program tonight, Tuesday, MARCH 27th -- "The History of Early Farming in Lenawee County" presented by Ray Lennard at 7 p.m. at the Clinton Township Public Library.
Ray Lenard is director of the Thompson House Museum in Hudson and member of the Lenawee County Historical Society. He will present a look into the deep and varying roots of farm-life since the county's founding in 1822, exploring how power-- water, rail and horse--made farming what it is today. He will talk about the first settlers farming, the county fair, centennial farms and the railroad with agriculture the backbone in the community.

I just had the opportunity to meet the Fletcher's from Fletcher's Fi****ms in Clinton. Did you know that he carries antique fi****ms as well as new fi****ms and they also carry knives. If you haven't had the chance to stop in and visit take the time to stop in and say hello! Their hours are Tues-Fri 9-6 Sat 10-4. They just celebrated their 1 year anniversary in Jan.

Stop in and browse our little town! Have some lunch or dinner at the historical Clinton Inn, Stop on in and visit Mike at Mike's Antiques, have a beer and burger at Dan' Tavern then head on out To US 12 Vintage Market we are 2 miles west of town right before the car lots!

Norleen Hicks from the Historical Society did an amazing job with the Clinton home tour! Thanks for all you do Norleen! A huge thank you to all the families that opened their homes for the tour! We need more families to sign up for the home tour for next year! Just a thought!
