Did you receive socks for the holidays this year that you don’t need or won’t wear and want to do a good deed to end 2021 strong?? Please consider donating them to my girls sock collection for ! All socks must be new and will be distributed to local men, woman, children and infants in need. A collection bin will be outside our house through January 11th. Reach out to and with any questions. Thanks in advance for helping my girls reach their goal of 500 socks 🧦💪

✨Additional bonus: this is a great opportunity to clean out your sock drawer. I bet you have some brand new socks in there (never worn, with tags) which could be more useful to someone who needs them.

Facebook notified me yesterday that it’s been a year since I launched this Personal Shopping business so I thought I would take this opportunity to say hi, to say thank you and to share what I’ve learned. 🛍👠

Here are some thoughts:
*I didn’t realize I needed to be an actress and a model to have a successful social media platform (Clearly, I am neither 😆)
*I stink at the more technologically savvy aspects of social media
*I continue to feel very uncomfortable posting pictures of myself
*I am still terrible at taking selfies 📸

But I’ve also learned that:
*Even though my posts sometimes make me want to cringe, they also create great conversations on social media and offline
*I really enjoy the creative aspect of posting as well as the the challenge of research and coming up with valuable and fun content
*This business is a portal to meeting clients so the posts are doing their job by letting people know what I do
*I LOVE shopping with / for other people!! It’s the reason I started this business & each happy client makes me so happy 💗

To my followers, friends and family:
*You are small army of the most supportive, engaged people out there. Every like, comment, share, and recommendation has helped my business grow and I’m truly grateful
*To all of you out there who offered me support, encouragement and advice throughout the whole year, I can’t thank you enough. I’d like to offer a special thanks to for all of your tips, guidance and input. 👯‍♂️

To my clients:
*Thank you for trusting me to shop with you and for allowing me into your closets. Each experience has been uniquely wonderful and has provided me with the opportunity to learn and grow.

This business is about so much more than shopping. It’s about interpersonal relationships, trust, conversations, style therapy and ultimately making each client feel beautiful and confident within his or her own style guidelines.

Reach out and let me know what type of content you’d like to see in the upcoming year. Thanks for following along! I wouldn’t be successful without all of you. Cheers to year 2! 🥂

Chanel in Israel!! 😍 I know the famous fashion house opened its doors in Tel Aviv in 2019 but when I actually saw the Chanel logo surrounded by Jerusalem stone for a new store in the Mamilla Mall, I was overcome with emotions. Here’s why… (if you know the quick history, skip to the last paragraph)

Coco Chanel was a successful Parisian designer by the early 1920s, known for her hats and little black dresses, but she needed funding to launch her signature perfume, Chanel No. 5. She partnered with Pierre Wertheimer, a successful French Jewish businessman, who provided 70% of the funding and the business soon exploded.

It’s no secret that Coco Chanel was antisemitic so it’s interesting that she chose to accept funding from a Jew. That funding launched her fragrance to stardom and skyrocketed the Chanel brand. As WWII ravaged Europe, Coco lived in the lap of luxury while she bedded a high ranking N**i officer and worked as a spy for the N**i regime. Knowing that half of her company (at the time) was owned by Jews, she tried to use the N**i imposed laws stating that Jews couldn’t own businesses to take back control of Chanel. Wertheimer, having escaped to America, outsmarted her, and did not lose his stake in the company.

Today, the Wertheimer family owns the entire company and they have grown it to unprecedented heights. Seeing the Chanel name in Jerusalem is the ultimate sucker punch to Mademoiselle Coco, who created an iconic brand that was tainted by her hatred of Jews.

For me, a Chanel bag is the quintessential statement piece. Statement as in “f*ck you Coco Chanel, we survived your hatred.” As a proud Jew who owns a Chanel bag, walking around the ancient (and also fabulously modernized) city of Jerusalem, in the days following two horrific attacks which resulted in the loss of innocent Jewish lives, I am thrilled that Chanel is owned by a Jewish family who overcame the hatred they faced, rescued the Chanel brand from its antisemitic roots and now have a storefront in the heart of Israel. עם ישראל חי 🇮🇱💪
