I am grateful for the opportunity to stay connected to my community. I am able to promote things that matter to my friends and family. Honestly I do a fraction of catering I used to do when I had a physical location. I really miss seen and maintaining the connections built over years of grinding in the food service world. The things I DO NOT miss is far greater, so I'd say I'm in a much better position in life :)

I’ve experienced enough loss in my own life to know that sometimes people are carrying battles we know absolutely nothing about. I’ve also learned how important it is to remind people that a permanent solution to a temporary problem is never the answer.

My friend David and his family are honoring Alex through 48.8 Miles for 48,824 Lives—raising awareness, creating conversations, and supporting su***de prevention and those dealing with grief.

The September 27 event is FREE, and shirts are available with net proceeds benefiting the Hinds LifeCare Center for Grief & Healing.

You don’t have to know Alex to support this. You don’t have to have experienced this kind of loss to care.

I remember Willie’s opening around the corner back in 2017 because those sandwiches looked too good not to make the drive. During COVID, we would tag each other supporting local businesses while I was running The Pickled Deli in Visalia, now under new ownership. That made finally visiting even better. Their new location is much bigger but still has that special mom-and-pop feel. The chilaquiles were delicious, but meeting the entire family made the visit. Willie didn’t brag TOO much about his football team 😒😂, especially after they handled my Chiefs 😪. Great food, great family, and definitely worth the drive! 💯

Nice local coffee shop in

I liked the decor and friendly service. About 10:30 and the place got packed as I was leaving. I have to come back for some pastries :)

I’ve always said good food will get me through the door, but good people are what keep me coming back. This is one of those crews I genuinely enjoy supporting—not because I have to, but because they’ve always treated me right and the vibe is always good.

Now, let’s not get crazy 😂 I most definitely hit McKinley and First for some variety in my pho life like any normal person would. 🍜

But this crew will always get my support. Great service, great people, and a place I enjoy walking into.

Does the parking suck? Absolutely 😂 Will that stop me? Not for a second.
