I gave two groups of students the same assignment:

Run the same search across Google, AI, TikTok, and YouTube.
Then explain what appears first—and why.

Same prompt.
Completely different interpretations of reality.

What they surfaced wasn’t just a platform shift.

It was a decision-making shift.

Search surfaces options.
Social surfaces context.
AI surfaces conclusions.

And increasingly, the decision happens before the click.

Spring quarter just started—and I’m already seeing a pattern.

I’m teaching across generations:
undergrads, career switchers, and experienced professionals.

Different backgrounds. Same issue: How people talk about their what they can do.

Early-career → undersell
Experienced → overcomplicate

Same result: overlooked.

The shift is simple:
say what you did clearly
tie it to outcomes
make your value easy to understand

The gap between fertility marketing and clinical reality is still wider than it should be—and conferences like PCRS are where it starts to close.

Hard to believe it’s already been over a week since PCRS—easily one of the most fun (and substantive) conferences on the calendar.

So good to reconnect with from / , from , from and meet the team at Simbryo Technologies + many more like .

The conversations hit different when everyone is actually doing the work—from obesity + fertility care to IVF risk mitigation and optimizing embryo transfer outcomes.

Also—yes, that first blurry photo?
That’s exactly how fast this trip was. In and out. Efficiency is a skill.
