In honor of my 40th banner hanging on my wall to dry, I thought a meet the owner post is due!
Some of you may know me personally, but others might just know me from the work I’ve posted. But behind every banner is just a girl who has always had a quiet love for the arts.🎨💕
For as long as I can remember, art has been something I’ve loved deeply, but never really imagined sharing with the world the way I do now. I never thought those quiet little creative moments would one day grow into something that would connect me with so many awesome people! 🤩
So hi! If you’re new here, I’m Courtney. 🤍
The owner, painter, designer, message responder, late-night creator, and the one-woman-show behind Courtney’s Painted Pretty Banners & Signs.🩷
Every single piece you see here is hand painted by me with so much love, care, and gratitude. (With the help of coffee, or an energy drink.)
Because outside of this business, I’m simply a 27-year-old wife and mama trying to balance all our beautiful chaos. I’ve been married to my husband Chris for 6 wonderful years, and together we’re raising our 4 beautiful children — 2 boys and 2 girls — who inspire me every single day to keep chasing my dreams no matter how busy life is.
While I can only dream of painting full time, I also truly love my day job as the local elementary school secretary. Getting to spend my days connecting with families and making a difference in children’s lives is so special to me!
With that being said, it should be known that I try my hardest to fit every banner, every last minute order & every tiny detail into my days! But ultimately this small business is ran during nap times, late nights, busy weekends, and moments where I chose to believe in myself a little more than I’m used to. It may seem like “just banners and signs” to some people, but to me, this business represents growth, courage, creativity, and a piece of my heart. I give up countless hours of sleep a week to make sure my banners are perfect for you! Because let’s be honest, if I did it with my kids awake, they’d be sure to add their touches to them. 🤣
Sometimes I still can’t believe people support something I create with my own two hands.
So whether you’ve placed an order, shared my page, liked a post, recommended me to someone, or simply followed along quietly, I want to personally thank you. You’re helping a small-town girl live out a dream she once kept all to herself.🤭
And that means more than I could ever put into words. 🥹🎨👩🏼🎨
