Hi 👋🏻 I’m Hannah. The other half of Maven & Co. I’ve been an entrepreneur since I started a hair salon in my bedroom around the age of 6. Not my most successful start-up. I started out as a sneakerhead, thinking I would climb the ladder at Nike, until I casually started making coconut butter in my east side bungalow kitchen and selling it in mason jars I bought at Walmart. It took me six months to lock down every detail of that business and make it profitable. I kept my sneakers, but I left the big corp to claim my title of CEO. In the four years of building, running and growing that business, I had the pleasure to consult other small businesses and help guide them. It’s like if you played a video game and had someone telling you all the right ways to move to stay alive - that’s what I did and what I still do. I thoroughly enjoy the process of starting a business. I know first hand the investment - both financial and time - that it takes to get an idea off the ground. How to do it under 5k and make money within a year ? I’ll tell you in our first consultation. I like small start ups that are still an idea, and I like big brands in a road block. I like to challenge and to be challenged.

Away from business, I’m “mama” to my little 15 month old darling Adeline, and a busy wife to my husband Cameron. If we’re not outside running, hiking or playing in the dirt (toddler life), we’re making some decadent recipe inside - well, I make the recipe, and the other two play intense games of hide and seek or chase. One very important thing to know about me: Pinot Noir. 🍷

Hi 👋🏼 I’m Dawn and half of Maven.

I come from years of self-made projects. Amateur blogging, denim labels, podcasts, book clubs, and some real interesting ideas I’m glad never saw the light of day... really, when people use the phrase “across the board,” they mean me. I’ve spent the last several years in non-profit management - specifically working with young entrepreneurs and curating events. My ideal day includes coffee, CrossFit, people and bringing ideas to life.

That is a glimpse of my heart for Maven and the people we serve.
If you didn’t get a chance to read my full bio on our site, then you should also know how dear to my heart the aisles of Trader Joe’s are. Seasonal dips are a sensitive subject... I miss them when they are gone, and have to substitute with the rotating cauliflower pizza.
