Some days, I get ALL the work done. 💕

Other days? I have a kiddo sitting in my office chair behind me, asking for mama love, climbing all over me, and making it just a little harder to get that to-do list checked off.

And honestly? I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

In just a couple of weeks, both of my kids will be off to school, and it will be the first time I’ll be home alone to work in over 6 YEARS.

I know I’m going to get so much more done. I’ll have quiet. I’ll have uninterrupted work time. I’ll probably stare at my computer for a minute wondering what to do with myself.

But I also know I’m going to miss the noise.

I’m going to miss the little interruptions. The “Mama, look!” moments. The cuddles in the middle of a workday. Even the days when getting anything done feels impossible.

This season of working from home with my kids has been messy, distracting, unpredictable and SO special.

&& as I head into this next season, I’m opening up a few spots for new social media management clients for September!

A little “Wait… I know that place!” moment 💕

I recently took a trip to Grand Rapids, Michigan, and somewhere along the way, I spotted a sign for Kalamazoo.

And honestly? It was such a cool feeling seeing places in real life that I’ve spent so much time creating reels, posts, and content about for the past couple years.

It’s one of those little moments that reminds me just how much I LOVE what I do. 💻📱

Getting to work behind the scenes to help promote local places, tell their stories, and encourage people to explore their communities is something I’m incredibly passionate about.

And getting to actually visit the area I’ve been creating content for? Even better.

I love that I am able to support local places from behind the screen… and then getting to experience the places and communities I’ve been helping promote IRL. ❤️

Here’s to more travel, more local businesses, and more “I literally just made a reel about this place” moments 😂

Stop #3 of 35 & Choosing Local

You already know I can't resist a cute local coffee shop, so during our family weekend getaway to the Hunter Mountain area, we had to stop at Deja Brew in Tannersville. ☕

This family-owned bakery and café checked all the boxes for me. Specialty coffees, homemade pastries, sandwiches, soups, and shelves filled with gifts from local makers.

The iced coffee and cold brew were both a win, and the kids devoured their pastries down to the last crumb. 🍪

But my favorite part wasn't even the coffee. It was the sense of community. They have a "Take a book, leave a book" shelf, board games you can play while you relax, and one of the local vendors selling necklaces asked if it was okay to gift each of our kids one. They were absolutely thrilled, and it was such a simple act of kindness that made our visit even more memorable.

It's moments like these that remind me why I love choosing local. It's never just about the coffee; it's about the people who make these places feel like home. ❤️

Came for some girl time… accidentally became a reformer Pilates girl. 😂

Somewhere between the beautiful hotel, amazing food, self-care, wellness experiences, shopping with incredible women-focused vendors, and spending the weekend with the best women… I discovered a newfound love for reformer Pilates.

Was I sore? Absolutely.
Did I immediately start thinking about when I could do it again? Also absolutely. 😂

This retreat was the perfect excuse to try something new, slow down, take care of myself, and spend a time surrounded by inspiring women.

10/10 would retreat again. 💕
