Now that the dust has settled on the uniform reveal—meaning the internet has finished its mandatory 48-hour freakout—I’m finally allowed to acknowledge we exist.
For months, our crew had to pretend we were just staring at blank walls while secretly resurrecting the iconic 2001 Natty throwbacks. Turns out, bringing the golden era of Miami football back to life takes a staggering, borderline absurd amount of manual labor:
450+ blanks
780+ digits
1,320 patches
400+ name plates sewn
Every single piece measured, attached, and hand-sewn to commemorate one of the greatest eras in college football history. Our crew absolutely crushed it; my fingers no longer recognize touch-screen technology, and the 2001 throwbacks look mean enough to strike fear into an entire roster.
Back to normal life. Or whatever passes for it.
