Weather: It's still hot here in Colonial Beach but the humidity has dropped so it doesn't feel quite as bad as it was before. Long walks on the beach and through the Pedestrian/Bike/Golf Cart trail are more tolerable.

I Woke up this morning to see a woodpecker, a cardinal, a robin, some chickadees and a dove all in my backyard at the same time. I couldn’t get my phone out without scaring them. So I just enjoyed the moment with no screen! It’s feels good to really get back to nature!
Colonial Beach is a quiet peaceful retreat to watch nature in all of its splendor!

Classic cars, summer sunshine, live music, raffles, and family fun — it’s all happening right here in Colonial Beach as The Colonial Rod Club and CB Chamber of Commerce bring back one of the town’s favorite traditions.

Saturday Highlights:
• Registration & Fun: 9 AM–3 PM
• Judging at 12 PM
• Awards at 3 PM
• Dash plaques for the first 150 cars
• 50/50 raffle, door prizes, DJ music
• Free spectator admission
