“Fundraiser of the Year” 2022 Award:
Chyrese Harper and the BOW Fundraiser
Chyrese Harper holds a multitude of titles. She is a proud wife of 24 years, a mother of four, and a grandmother. She strives daily to live a lifestyle of faith forward. Chyrese has been a stay at home mom for 11 years and a child care provider and day care owner for 16 years. In 2021, Chyrese launched the brick and mortar daycare and preschool, Bright Dreams Learning Center, in Chesapeake, VA. In addition to her dedication to the youngest in our community, Chyrese’s mission is to educate and empower women everywhere. She is a Certified Yoni Steam Practitioner, the owner of Incessant Beauty, and a well-trained doula with a concentration in postpartum care. Her desire to work with other women also led her to become a cofounder of the Women’s Co-Working Center LLC.
Chyrese’s heart is truly drawn to individuals in need. She also founded the Blessings on Wheels (BOW) fundraising platform. BOW is a group of friends who assist with meeting the needs of individuals experience difficult times. Since the BOW’s inception in 2020, Chyrese has utilized the platform to raise funds and solicit donations for over 20 families and individuals. Her efforts have ensured families in her community have access to basic life necessities, temporary housing, and felt the warmth and love from the community on the holidays. The Juneteenth Networking Gala is honored to award Chyrese Harper and the BOW fundraiser with the fundraiser of the year award.
