LinkedIn has never been my favorite platform....I get SO MUCH SPAM there. BUT! They recently introduced a new feature, and I am here for it!

"Seems like AI slop" has arrived. If you see a post that looks like "AI slop" you can click the dots in the top right of the post and you will see this menu. At the same time, LinkedIn pulled its own AI “enhance your post” writing tool and replaced it with a proofreading feature instead. This appears to be a reflection of how people are feeling about AI generated images.

I've said it before, AI isn't going anywhere, it can be a powerful tool but there are ethical ways to use it. You can really lose authenticity (and leads) using it for images. I previously used it more frequently to create images of pink sheep, because well, they are not real, but I do not use it for my clients, and have no further plans to create content using AI. There is a growing distrust in AI, and it can impact your business and how people view you.

So often, people just assume the Co. in Pink Sheep Co. stands for company. Not 100% wrong...it actually stands for three different words, all of which matter deeply to me. Co. is for COmpany, but also my first name, COlleen, and lastly COlorado, the wonderful, beautiful place I get to call home.

And today, my favorite state gets to celebrate 150 years of statehood! Happy birthday Colorado! 💖🐑
