Thanks for asking this question.

Of course, my answer is based on my personal experiences with building my own community and, what I've seen from others who have a large community behind them.

I personally believe that being TRANSPARENT with, and COMMUNICATING with, those that you're wanting to build your community with is KEY.

Also, think about it like this.
How would YOU want to be treated by a creator that you like?

We know the answer...
You'd want communication and transparency, and you aren't taking ANY bu****it from them.
So, why would you dish out BU****IT?
