Music has a power to touch us and bring us together.

A heartfelt tribute to Ukraine during the performances this weekend. Sergei Vassiliev, Philharmonic principal clarinet and native of Ukraine played the Ukranian National Anthem along with the entire orchestra.

Sergei, whose family lives in embattled Kharkiv, wore a blue and yellow ribbon during the performance. He is in touch with his family and following the brave Ukranian resistance as it unfolds.

This orchestra and its audience is a family made up of diverse backgrounds, origins, and perspectives. We are united utterly with music of peace.

As Leonard Bernstein said: "This will be our reply to violence: to make music more intensely, more beautifully, more devotedly than ever before."

The Comeback is here, and the Comeback is now! The Colorado Springs Philharmonic has reached a three-year agreement with our musicians. We’re coming back to the stage and we’re inviting you back to experience the music that has been too long missing from our lives.

Your extraordinary faith, patronage, and patience through this unprecedented time is the reason we make this announcement today and begin to celebrate our 95th Anniversary of extraordinary music making in Colorado Springs.

With this exciting announcement, please mark your calendar for a Holiday return of the Philharmonic starting Thanksgiving Weekend with special performances of The Nutcracker featuring the Oklahoma City Ballet. And in the coming days you’ll receive more information about our schedule of Holiday 2021 concerts and the full slate of Comeback Season performances beginning with concerts in January 2022. Masterworks, Pops and Signature Series… we have it all scheduled and your seats are waiting.
