Ryan Coogler is taking action to help more films make it to theaters by helping launch a new council focused on supporting cinematic releases 🎬✨ The Black Panther director and producer is aiming to ensure that filmmakers, especially underrepresented voices, have better access to theatrical distribution and wider audiences 🌍🍿 This move highlights the importance of preserving the theater experience while giving creators the support they need to share their stories on the big screen. Could this council be the boost the industry needs to keep theaters thriving? 💭🎥

For the love of film. It’s more than a catchphrase — it’s the heartbeat of our community.
A standing-room-only crowd came together to celebrate The Forum’s 13th Anniversary Screening, and the energy in the room said it all.

Thank you to our incredible filmmakers for sharing your vision, passion, and hard work with us. Because of you, the Pikes Peak Region — and beyond — continues to shine as a vibrant home for independent film.

IFSOC and Peak Film Forum remain committed to championing independent filmmakers and making sure their stories are not only seen, but truly celebrated.

Cheers!🎬🎥
