We remember. We honor. We pray.
Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We remember the families whose lives were forever changed, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless acts of courage, sacrifice, and kindness that followed.
25 years later, may we never forget.
Lord, today we pray for the families who still carry the weight of that day. Comfort those who grieve. Protect the men and women who continue to serve our communities and our country. Bring peace where there is division, hope where there is fear, and remind us to love our neighbors deeply.
Help us remember how quickly life can change and never take for granted the people we love or the days You have given us.
May we choose kindness.
May we choose unity.
May we choose prayer.
And may we always remember.
āBlessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.ā ā Matthew 5:4
