Every company has an origin story. Ours started with something surprisingly simple: a favor.
Part 1: The Unexpected Beginning (1968–1985)
Did you know, Doug and Lynne Trevett never planned on becoming business owners? He was a nuclear engineer. She was a kindergarten teacher. Then one label-printing job landed on their kitchen table. The Trevetts accepted the task as a favor and began their first official job.
After the success of the first project, they duo sought after more. One business responded to their inquiry and before long, an 18-wheeler was delivering magazines to their driveway!
Lynne, determined as ever (not shocking in the least if you know her!), accepted the magazines, printed the labels, and filled her ’77 Chevy Impala over and over with pallets worth of materials to transport to the local post office.
That unexpected leap became Trevett's Labels in 1985, and the beginning of everything that followed.
Next month: What started at the kitchen table quickly outgrew the house...
