THE QUALITY SALESMAN.
The occupation has been around for a very long time, and the skill of being able to sell yourself, your ideas, or whatever tangible item(s) you possess, that others want, is even more important! Not everyone is meant to go out door to door selling products and services or is able to make the phone calls, repeatedly being rejected by hundreds before they find the handful of people that will listen.
HOWEVER! Everyone is skilled in some way! It may not be something that the media portrays as "sexy" right now but that's a good thing! What's "sexy" right now will not be what's "sexy" in 10 years or 20 years! So FIND YOUR SKILL!
Think about what you are truly talented at and enjoy, not what you see the newest YouTube or Instagram celebrity doing. If you're good at reading and decrypting the meaning of novels that you've read, write book summaries! If you love crystals and other minerals, learn everything about them and be able to say what it's made of, where it came from, and why it gets to be this certain color. If you love and know everything about basketball but weren't born with the height or talent it takes to get to the NBA, create a podcast discussing the draft, this years trades, and predictions for next year. Whatever your skill and interest is CAPITALIZE ON IT!
Make sure everyone knows that if they have a question about your niche, you're the person to call. Create an Instagram account, a page, YouTube channel and write blogs about the topic. Be the icon that is cool and sexy in your niche! Teach others about things they would never learn about otherwise. ADD VALUE!
Whatever you choose to specialize in "sell" it to others. Don't only "sell" it to others, but "sell" it to them for "free"by paying forward what you've learned to others through videos and posts. Don't only "sell" this knowledge to them and make it "free," but make it true quality knowledge. Be yourself. If you're funny, be funny. If you're goofy, be goofy. If you're overly sarcastic, be overly sarcastic. Whatever you're selling, MAKE SURE IT HAS WORTH.
Find your niche.
Capitalize on it.
Make it valuable to others.
